“Khalid al-Serkal has displayed an incredible ability to overcome difficult challenges especially with his recent role as a country manager in Egypt. He succeeded in enhancing flight frequencies at a critical time and contributed highly to the market’s growth. I am certain that he will have an integral role in advancing our operations in Qatar” said Emirates’ Senior Vice President (Gulf, Middle East and Iran) Ahmed Khoory.
Since joining Emirates in 2000, al-Serkal has been exposed to diverse markets where he has been able to implement and expand his strategies and skills.  He has held managerial roles in Uganda, Tanzania, and most recently Egypt, during which flights between the capital, Cairo, and Dubai have increased from 10 flights a week to 13.
